Bears had fun in the sun!
Our annual picnic on 8 July marked the fifth anniversary of the opening of the Ashford Baby Memorial Garden. Lots of families and lots of children and even more teddy bears came along for an afternoon of fun, with games and freebies as well as a great show which included a 15 ft man, bubble tricks and some pretty impressive magic. Helen kindly provided facepainting for everyone and there were some great faces on show.
But as well as being a fun afternoon, the picnic also gave us all a chance to meet together with other bereaved families for an afternoon where people could talk to others who had also bost babies. During the afternoon there was an opportunity for people to create hearts and teddy bears to go on our special memory tree. For some photos of the afternoon, please click here.
